SUMMARY:Family Frontiers’ Participation at the World Conference on Statelessness
DESCRIPTION:Family Frontiers played a key role in organising the World Statelessness Conference that took place in Taylors’ University. Our EXCO member moderated a panel on ‘Mobilising to End Gender Discriminatory Nationality Laws’ during the World Conference on Statelessness 2024\, attended by 50 participants. The Lead Coordinator facilitated a skills lab on ‘National Advocacy on the Right to Nationality and Statelessness’ and spoke on a panel about statelessness in Malaysia to approximately 50 participants. Additionally\, Family Frontiers conducted an arts workshop on “Power in Personal Stories: The Art of Audio-Visual Advocacy\,” engaging 20 participants\, and their art installations attracted around 300 participants.
