DESCRIPTION:The Mothers’ Circle: A Day of Care and Community for Malaysian Mothers and Children served as a safe space for the community to receive care\, connect\, and to strengthen one another. The main focus of the event was to provide a support group session for the mothers\, guided by mental health professionals\, with a focus on the shared problem of dealing with the stress and anxiety that has resulted from the prolonged unequal citizenship law situation. The event was also a space for mothers and children to build relationships with others in the community with hopes of strengthening mothers and children mentally and emotionally\, equipping them with coping tools throughout the rest of their advocacy journey and equal citizenship struggles.
