Several closed door focus group discussions were hosted to foster discussion with members of Family Frontiers’ focus population—Malaysian binational families—and understand the lived realities on the ground following the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. The evidence and lived realities gathered enabled Family Frontiers and the Foreign Spouses Support Group (FSSG) to advocate for effective policy changes in the best interest of families.
