Please also note that, according to a recent update from Immigration, the LTSVP can be renewed until the child turns 16, allowing it to be used for school as well. However, this depends on the discretion of the individual school. Different states may have different practices, so it is advisable to check with your state’s immigration office for clarification. If the school accepts the LTSVP, your child can continue to use it without needing to switch to a separate student pass.
