Long-Term Social Visit Pass #
The Long Term Social Visit Pass (LTSVP) may be issued to a foreigner for a temporary stay in Malaysia for a period of not less than six months. Extensions of the period of stay can be given based on eligibility and fulfilment of certain conditions.
Note:
LTSVP can only be issued with a valid Social Visit Pass (SVP) or a Special Pass. So, even if you have an expired SVP, the Immigration Office will issue an SVP first before issuing the LTSVP. In some instances, spouses are asked to leave the country and re-enter on an SVP.
